Anna Ruth Imel

Anna Ruth Imel, 73, of Greenup, Kentucky went to be with the Lord on February 4, 2021 at her residence. Ms. Imel was born June 7, 1946 in Oldtown, Kentucky a daughter of the late Charlie and Nellie Phillips McDaniels. She was a member of Argillite Methodist Church where she was very involved. She was a 1964 Wurtland High School graduate.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Curtis Imel who she was married to for 40 years; one daughter Patricia Imel Williams; five brothers Edward McDaniels, Dewey McDaniels, Junior McDaniels, Joe McDaniels, and Hubert McDaniels.

She is survived by one son Paul (Cassie) Imel of Raceland, Kentucky

Funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 am on Tuesday February 9, 2021 at Reed Funeral Home in Greenup, Kentucky by Bro. Danny Brown. Burial will be in McDaniels Cemetery in Greenup, Kentucky. Visitation will be from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm on Monday at the funeral home and one hour before the service on Tuesday.
