Anna Geneva Chaffins

Anna Geneva Chaffins, 95, of Load, Kentucky, went home to be with the Lord, Tuesday, July 7, 2026, at UK Kings Daughters Medical Center in Ashland, Kentucky.

Geneva was born October 17, 1930, in Samaria, Kentucky, a daughter pf the late Fred Earl and Beulah Agnes Webb Felty

Geneva was a member of the Load Christian Baptist Church in Load, Kentucky. She was one of the best grandmothers anyone could ever ask for.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her Husband Sherman Chaffins; two brothers Charles Felty and Heber Felty; two sisters Marie McGlone and Avenell Kiser; a grandson Allen Moore two great grandchildren Serenity Moore and Caleb Travis Chaffins; two sons in laws Jr. Moore and Bruce Braden.

She is survived by a son Marvin (Anita) Chaffins of Ashland, Kentucky; three daughters Wanda Braden of Load, Kentucky, Donna (Bob) Marshall of Columbia, Tennessee, and Deborah Moore of Load, Kentucky; a sister Loretta (Curtis) LeMaster of Grayson, Kentucky; nine grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00pm, Friday, July 10, 2026, at Load Christian Baptist Church by Pastor Robbie Bond and Minister Raymond Lewis. Burial will be in the Chaffins Cemetery in Load, Kentucky. Visitation will be from 11:00am until service at the church on Friday. Reed Funeral Home in Greenup has been entrusted with the services.
