Amanda Kolene Worthington, 90, of Wurtland, Kentucky, passed away, Monday, June 2, 2025, at Woodland Oaks Health Car in Ashland, Kentucky. Kolene was born February 12, 1935, in Greenup, Kentucky, a daughter of the late George Bryant and Dora Ellen Lowe Fannin. Kolene had attended the former Wurtland High School.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Paul Donald Worthington; two brothers William J. Fannin and Hubert Jack Fannin; three sisters Anne Miller Lena Griffith, and Betty Leadingham.
She is survived by a son Paul Bryant (Clara) Worthington of Wurtland, Kentucky; a sister Kathleen Miller Holt of Rochester, Michigan; two grandchildren Kevin Lee (Deidrea) Worthington of Lexington, Kentucky and Kyle Scott Worthington of Wurtland, Kentucky; a great-grandson Klye Scott Coburn Worthington; a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
There will be a memorial graveside service at a later date. Reed Funeral Home in Greenup has been entrusted with the arrangements.
