Thomas "Jack" McCleese

Thomas “Jack” McCleese, 60, of Load, Kentucky went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Monday, April 27, 2020 at his farm. Jack was born February 1, 1960 in Lewis County, Kentucky a son of the late Jesse and Flora Sparks McCleese. Jack was a 1978 graduate of Lewis County High School and was a graduate of Morehead State University where he earned a Bachelor's of Science Degree. He was the present pastor of Oldsteam Baptist Church in Wurtland, Kentucky where he had served and done the Lord’s work faithfully for 20 years. Jack loved his church family and they loved him dearly. He was employed with the Greenup County School System for 17 years where he was the transportation director. Jack was a wonderful husband, father, and friend to all who knew him.

father and mother in law Jerry and Connie Abdon of Load, Kentucky

brother in laws Chris, Todd, Greg and his wife Winnie who he was very close to

a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and his church family who will greatly miss him.

A private family graveside services will be conducted by Assistant Pastor Rodney Vance at the Abdon Family Cemetery, Load, Kentucky. Due to the Covid-19 virus there will be a celebration of Life at a later date. Condolences may be made at
