Patricia Kay Gullett


Patricia Kay Gullett, 64, of Greenup, Kentucky went home to be with her Lord and Savior Monday, April 20, 2020 at her home surrounded by her loving family.

Patricia was born April 20, 1956 in Ashland, Kentucky, a daughter of Thelma Riffe Claxon of Greenup, Kentucky, and the late Elmer Clayton Claxon.

She was a 1974 graduate of Greenup County High School and a member of Salem Missionary Baptist Church on Lost Creek in Greenup County, and attended Liberty Methodist Church, in Lynn, Kentucky.

She was a warm and caring soul, who enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, and was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, and aunt.

She is survived by her loving husband of 44 years William “Bill” Gullett; one son Brian Gullett of Lloyd, Kentucky; one daughter Melissa (Kevin) Burks of Greenup, Kentucky; two brothers Charles Ray (Brenda) Claxon of Grayson, Kentucky and James (Bessie) Claxon of Wurtland, Kentucky; three sisters Debbie (Maurice) VanBibber and Linda (Steve) Hunt both of South Shore, Kentucky and Margaret (Richard) Smallwood of Greenup, Kentucky; two grandchildren Makayla Burks and Carlee Burks; and a host of nieces, nephews and great-nephews that she loved dearly.

A private graveside service will be held at the Kiser – McGinnis Cemetery on Lost Creek by Bro. Kenneth Martin.
