Stacy Nelson

Stacy Nelson, 67, of Greenup, Kentucky passed away Monday December 4, 2017 at Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland, Kentucky.

Mr. Nelson was born January 16, 1949 in Greenup, Kentucky a son of the late Orin and Mary Stuart Nelson.

He restored antique log cabins many of which had historical significance in the area. He was an author and musician during his retirement. He published six novels and wrote several songs.

He is survived by his loving wife Rebecca Jo Simpson Nelson

Moira and Joss Nelson Sallade of Richmond, Virginia

A private graveside service will be conducted at 3:30 pm on Friday December 8, 2017 at his residence in Greenup, Kentucky. Contact Rebecca Nelson for directions.
