Gerald Wayne Nichols, 54, of Wurtland, Kentucky passed away Saturday December 3. 2016 at Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital in Russell, Kentucky.

Mr. Nichols was born in Russell, Kentucky May 18, 1962 a son of Ralph J. and Brenda G. Pennington Nichols of Greenup, Kentucky.

He was a 1980 graduate of Greenup County High School and worked at Professional Transportation Inc. in Wurtland.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm Friday, December 9, 2016 at Reed Funeral Home in Greenup, Kentucky. Burial will be in Caroline Cemetery in Raceland, Kentucky.

Visitation will be Thursday from 6:00- 8:00 pm and one hour before the service on Friday.
