Barbara Anita Wright, 72, of Argillite, Kentucky went to be with the Lord, October 13, 2015 at The Glass Family Care Home in Argillite.

Barbara was born February 9, 1943 in Ashland, Kentucky a daughter of the late Fred and Golda Gillum Sloas.

She was a member of Cane Creek Freewill Baptist Church in Argillite where she was also a member of the former Ladies Auxiliary.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years in 2013 Jay B. Wright

She is survived by

1 daughter Anita and Kevin Johnson of Warnock, Kentucky

1 son Jay Alan and Dusti Wright of Lloyd, Kentucky

3 grandchildren

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 am, Saturday, October 17, 2015 at Reed Funeral Home in Greenup by Pastor Ronald Blevins.

Burial will be in the Oldfields Cemetery in Argillite, Kentucky

Visitation will be Friday from 6:00 - 9:00 pm and one hour before the service on Saturday at the funeral home.
