Charles Boggs, 89, of Raceland, Kentucky passed away Tuesday, May 5, 2015 at Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland, Kentucky.

Mr. Boggs was born October 8, 1925 in Warnock, Kentucky a son of the late Frank and Virgie Allen Boggs.

He was a War World II United States Navy Veteran and was of Baptist Faith.

He is survived by

2 brothers Earl and Betty Boggs of Mechanicsburg, Ohio

James and Alma Boggs of Kettering, Ohio

1 sister Nina and Wayne Woods of Milford Center, Ohio

1 sister-in-law Helen Boggs of Raceland, KY

5 grandchildren

Several great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm Thursday, May 7, 2015 at Reed Funeral Home in Greenup by Reverend Marvin Boggs. Burial will be in the Boggs Cemetery, Warnock, Kentucky. Military rites will be preformed by Marine Corps League Greenbo Detachment #1345

Visitation will be Thursday 11:00 am until service time at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Community Hospice Care Center.
