Sandra Kay Slaughter

Sandra Kay Woods Slaughter, 62, of Worthington, Kentucky was called home by her Lord on Thursday April 16, 2015 at her residence.

Mrs. Slaughter was born in Ashland, Kentucky on December 14, 1952 a daughter of Hazel Cavin Pennington Lee and the late Roosevelt Pennington Jr.

She was a member of Russell First Baptist Church.

She was a loving mother and grandmother.

She enjoyed reading and writing. She loved flowers.

In addition to her father she is preceded in death by Her first husband Raymond Woods.

One sister Linda Lou and her husband Terry Spears

In addition to her mother and step father Wetzel Lee she is survived by her husband Harold E. Slaughter.

One son Christopher Raymond and Crystal Woods of Spring City, Tennessee.

One brother Jerald and Cheryl Pennington of Raceland, Kentucky.

One sister Donna and Mike Maddox of Russell, Kentucky.

Funeral service will be at 2:00 pm Saturday April 18, 2015 at Reed Funeral Home in Greenup, Kentucky by Pastor Ken Gowin. Burial will be in Happy Ridge Cemetery in Greenup.

Visitation will be from 6:00-9:00 pm on Friday at the funeral home and one hour before the service on Saturday.
