Rachel Ann Quaine, 49, of Greenup, Kentucky passed away Wednesday, April 9, 2025, at Kings Daughters Medical Center in Ashland, Kentucky. Rachel was born November 19, 1975, in Union, West Virginia, a daughter of Lola Barnette (Ernest) Fannin and Thomas G. (Cassie) Defibaugh. She was a 1995 graduate of Russell High School.
She was preceded in death by one brother Benjamin Defibaugh and a step-daughter Erica Quaine.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her loving husband of 26 years Brian Quaine; one son Derek Defibaugh of Flatwoods, Kentucky; two daughters Autumn (Allie) Quaine of Seaside, California and Samantha (Caleb) Quaine of Morehead, Kentucky; and three grandchildren Jonathan, Sarah, and Joshua.
A memorial service will be held 12:00 pm on Tuesday, April 22, 2025 at Reed Funeral Home in Greenup, Kentucky. Visitation will be from 11:00 am until service time. Condolences may be made at www.rlrfuneralhome.com.
