Pearlie Loverna Boyles, 85, of Greenup, Kentucky went home to be with the Lord, Monday, June 15, 2026, at her home.
Loverna was born February 2, 1941, in Greenup, Kentucky, a daughter of the late Millard and Caroline Osborne Archey. Loverna attended the Oak Street Baptist Church in Flatwoods, Kentucky.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Herbert Boyles; two daughters Annetta Conley Reynolds and Loretta Kay Allen; a grandson Clinton Smith; four brothers William Robert Archey, Adam Archey, Hobert, and Donald Archey; three sisters Thelma Adbon, Violet June Archey, Inez “Sissy” Tussey, and Ida Lyons.
She is survived by a son Rick (Rose Marie) Conley of Cumming, Georgia; a daughter Rita (James) Cline of Greenup, Kentucky; two brothers Lester (Sheri) Archey and Norman Archey both of Greenup, Kentucky; a sister Clara (Michael) Gerber of Greenup, Kentucky; eight grandchildren Johnny (Peggy) Smith, Curtis Smith, Kayla Smith, Shannon Reynolds, Carol (John) Hill, April Conley, Christopher (Ashley) Nichols, and Joseph (Michelle) Tedrick; nine great-grandchildren a host of nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank their family friends for all the love and prayers during this difficult time.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00am, Thursday, June 18, 2026, at Reed Funeral Home in Greenup, Kentucky by Bro. Robbie Bond. Burial will be in the Archey Cemetery in Greenup, Kentucky. Visitation will be from 6:00 – 8:00pm Wednesday and one hour before the service on Thursday at the funeral home. Condolences may be made at www.rlrfuneralhome.com
