Lori Ann Baker Tackett
Lori Ann Baker Tackett, 50, of Lloyd, Kentucky went home to be with the Lord, Monday, August 14, 2023, surrounded by her family who loved her dearly.
Lori was born August 13, 1973, in Ashland, Kentucky, a daughter of Ruby Hurst Baker of Lloyd, Kentucky and the late John E. Baker. Lori was a 1992 graduate of Greenup County High School and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Flatwoods Kentucky.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents Richard and Edna Hurst; her paternal grandfather August Baker; an aunt Vicky Baker and an uncle Terry Hurst.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by a son Matt Baker of Lloyd, Kentucky; two daughters Shayla Tackett and Shawna Tackett both of Flatwoods, Kentucky; a stepson Steven Tackett of Ashland, Kentucky; a brother John (Rachel) Baker of Lloyd, Kentucky; a half brother Eddie Ray Baker of Greenup Kentucky; paternal grandmother Clara Baker of Greenup, Kentucky; two aunts Wanda Bays and Christine (John) Colegrove both of Lloyd, Kentucky, and Phoebe (Charlie) Rose of Greenup, Kentucky; five uncles William Perry Hurst of Chilicothe, Ohio, Sherman (Bobbie) Baker and David (Margie) Baker both of Wurtland, Kentucky, Carl Baker of Somerset, Ohio and James (Becky) Baker of Greenup, Kentucky; her partner Jeremy Bibbee of Ashton, West Virginia and his mother Kim Hedricks and grandmother Barb Barnett both of Point Pleasant, West Virginia; Special friends Champagne Romine of Worthington, Kentucky, and Bob Perdue of Ashland, Kentucky; many family and friends who will miss her greatly.
Funeral services will be conducted at 12:00 pm, Friday. August 18, 2023, at the First Baptist Church, Flatwoods, Kentucky by Pastor Jim Nichols, and Bro. Dave Daniels. Burial will be in the Hurst Cemetery, Lloyd, Kentucky. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 pm Thursday at First Baptist Church, Flatwoods, Kentucky and one hour before the service on Friday at the church.
