Katherine Evelyn Sparks

Katherine Evelyn Sparks, 79, of Greenup, Kentucky passed away December 10, 2022, at her home, from her third battle with cancer. Katherine was born October 11, 1943, in Arlington Heights, Illinois a daughter of the late William Henry and Emma Kostka Graham.

Katherine was a volunteer and pharmacy technician for Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland, Kentucky and set with hospice patients at their homes for many years.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Billy Gene Sparks; granddaughter Keilee Sparks, grandson T.J. Poplin; one son Richard Sparks; and 15 brothers and sisters.

She is survived by

Tereasa L. (Scott) Fore of South Shore, Kentucky

Two sisters

Pricilla Dvoracek of Crystal Lake, Illinois

Rosie Asmussen of Williams Bay, Wisconsin

Twenty-three grandchildren; thirty-eight great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
