Jewel D. Dean, 77, of Danleyton, Kentucky, passed away, Sunday, April 26, 2026, at her home. Jewel was born June 3, 1948, in Grayson, Kentucky, a daughter of the late Kenneth Edward and Stella Faye Stone Brown. Jewel enjoyed quilting, gardening, and working with flowers.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Aleck Dean.
She is survived by a brother James Kenneth (Shiela) Brown; two sisters Wilma (Ralph) Stephens of Greenup, Kentucky and Sandra (Phillip) Litteral of Argillite. Kentucky; a host of nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00am Wednesday, April 29, 2026, at Oldtown Cemetery in Oldtown, Kentucky by Bro. Kenny Martin. Reed Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements. Condolences may be made at www.rlrfuneralhome.com
