Jewel D. Dean, 77, of Danleyton, Kentucky, passed away, Sunday, April 26, 2026, at her home. Jewel was born June 3, 1948, in Grayson, Kentucky, a daughter of the late Kenneth Edward and Stella Faye Stone Brown. Jewel enjoyed quilting, gardening, and working with flowers.
In addition to her [parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Aleck Dean.
She is survived by a brother James Kenneth (Shiela) Brown; two sisters Wilma (Ralph) Stephens of Greenup, Kentucky and Sandra (Phillip) Litteral of Argillite. Kentucky; a host of nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00am Wednesday, April 29, 2026, at Oldtown Cemetery in Oldtown, Kentucky. Reed Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements. Condolences may be made at www.rlrfuneralhome.com
