Jackie Donald Adams, 88, of Warnock, Kentucky passed away, Wednesday, March 26, 2025, at his son’s residence. Jackie was born December 12, 1936, in Warnock, Kentucky, a son of the late Arnold Adams Sr. and Sara Jane Jones Adams. He worked at C&O Railroad for a few years and was the custodian at Warnock Elementary School for a few years. He loved fishing and squirrel hunting. He also enjoyed raising tobacco and farming.

 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife Tinnie Craft Adams; one brother Ronald E. Adams; and one sister Mary Ruth Wolfe.

 

He is survived by one son Donald (Debbie) Adams of Warnock, Kentucky; one daughter Cathy (Eddie) Conley of Greenup, Kentucky; two brothers Arnold (Salley) Adams of Grayson, Kentucky and Daniel Adams of South Shore, Kentucky; five sisters Nola Jarrell of Grayson, Kentucky, Grace (Bobby) Ramey of Carter City, Kentucky, Ida (Norman) Maggard of Lexington, Kentucky, Connie Harris of Carter City, Kentucky, Tammy (Eddie) Haney of Carter City, Kentucky; six grandchildren Rodney Conley, Jeremy Conley, Becky Jordan, Amanda (George) Rowe, and Jessica (Jimmy) Grizzell; ten great grandchildren Coby Conley, Brent Conley, Ashley (John) Thompson, Austin Jordan, Nikkolas Salley, Tara Jordan, Lukkas Melvin, Makkala Melvin, Abygail Jordan, Aaron Jordan; two great great-grandchildren Parker and Toby; a special friend “Punk” Boggs of Flatwoods, Kentucky; and several nieces and nephews.

 

Funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Monday, March 31, 2025, at Reed Funeral Home in Greenup, Kentucky. Burial will be in Boggs Cemetery in Warnock, Kentucky. Visitation will be from 11:00 am until service time on Monday. Condolences may be made at www.rlrfuneralhome.com.
