Delores Ann Miles, 72, of Greenup, Kentucky, passed way June 29, 2026, at UK Kings Daughters Medical Center in Ashland, Kentucky.
Delores was born September 28, 1954, in Carter County, Kentucky a daughter of the late Wade Edward Sr. and Hettie Carpenter McDowell.
Delores was a wonderful mother and grandmother. She attended various Baptist Churches in the area.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband John Thomas Miles; a son Theodore Lee Brown; two brothers Chrales W. McDowell and Wade E. McDowell Jr.; three sisters Sue McDowell, Bobbie Jean McDowell Young, and infant Janet L. McDowell.
She survived by a son Christopher Allen (Miranda Marcum) Brown of Boyd County, Kentucky; a daughter Crystal Ann Miles of Greenup, Kentucky; two brothers Ronald M. McDowell and Jonathan McDowell Both of Tazwell, Tennessee; a sister Julie (Tim) Meeks of North Port, Florida; two grandchildren Christopher Shawn Brown and Serenity Lakota Holman; three step-grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be conducted at 1:00pm, Monday, July 6, 2026, at Reed Funeral Home in Greenup, Kentucky. Visitation will be from 11:00am until service time. Condolences be made at www.rlrfuneralhome.com
