David Ray Stephenson

David Ray Stephenson, 75, of Russell, Kentucky passed away January 15, 2026, at Kings Daughters Medical Center in Ashland, Kentucky. David was born November 28, 1950, in Ashland, Kentucky, a son of the late Cecil and Margaret Hicks Stephenson. He was a 1968 graduate of Raceland High School. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Russell, Kentucky where he was very involved.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Marilyn Stephenson; one brother Cecil "Sonny" Stephenson; one sister Wanda Smiley; one sister-in-law Missy Stephenson; one brother-in-law Jack Spainhower.He is survived by one son Brandon Stephenson of Russell, Kentucky; one daughter Tracey Keith of Russell, Kentucky; two brothers Glen (Nancy) Stephenson of Worthington, Kentucky and Raymond Stephenson of Raceland, Kentucky; three sisters Bonnie (Jim) Keeton of Flatwoods, Kentucky, Betty (Bob) Smith of Flatwoods, Kentucky, and Lorena Spainhower of Worthington, Kentucky; and a host of nieces and nephews.
