Christine Ann Bailey, 67, of Greenup, Kentucky passed away Saturday, August 1, 2026, from a courageous fight with cancer at her residence in Greenup. Christine was born July 6, 1959, in Griffith, Indiana, a daughter of the late William Charles and Carmelita Mercedes Ginter Reiss. She was of the Catholic faith. Christine was a wonderful person who loved her children, grandkids and family very much. She had two special pets, Iris and Rascal, who she adored. She retired from Steel Machinery Cardinal Transport where she was a dispatcher in Hammond, Indiana.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband James H. Bailey; one son Jason A. Mesman; two brothers Edward (Betty) Reiss and John Reiss; one sister Katherine Ann Kitzmiller; and great grandson William Riley Harris.
She is survived by her significant other of 19 years Victor Cox; two sons Gerard (April) Mesman of Portage, Indiana and Dakota (Elissa) Cox of Firebrick, Kentucky; two daughters Stacy Alley of Greenup, Kentucky and Serenna (Cody) Woodruff of Lucasville, Ohio; one sister Elizabeth (John) Paul of Griffith, Indiana; ten grandchildren Cody Niblett, Briann Mesman, Ryan Blagg, Tyler (Lynzi) Blagg, Hannah (Jackson) Harris, Kirsten Bailey, Madelyn Woodruff, Ashtyn Woodruff, Hadley Woodruff and Kensley Woodruff who was very special to her; several great grandchildren; special great niece Kaitlynn Clark; extended family Mable Reiss, Phillip Cox of Franklin Furnace, Ohio, Tony (Billy) Cox of McDermot, Ohio, Kenneth (April) Cox of Augusta, Georgia, Allen (Christina) Cox of McDermot, Ohio, and Marsha Lynn (Scott) Jenkins of Minford, Ohio.
