Christie Ann Melvin, 82, of Greenup, Kentucky, passed away, Monday, January 26, 2026, at her home surrounded by her family who loved her dearly. Christie was born June 7, 1943, in Greenup County, Kentucky, a daughter of the late James and Mary Ann Eulett Rhoden.
In addition to her parents, Christie was preceded in death by a daughter Debra Ann Melvin and a son Anthony Melvin.
She is survived by her husband of 33 years William Earl Melvin; a son James (Christi) Melvin of Greenup, Kentucky; one brother John Rhoden; a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will conducted at 1:00pm on Tuesday, February 3, 2026, at Reed Funeral Home in Greenup, by Bro. Danny Brown. Burial will be in the Melvin Cemetery Wurtland, Kentucky.
