Charles Keith Hall

Charles Keith Hall, 73, of Greenup, Kentucky, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, November 24, 2024, at King’s Daughters’ Medical Center in Ashland, Kentucky, surrounded by his loving family. Keith was born on October 11, 1951, in Ironton, Ohio, to Janet Colleen Logan Hall Johnson of Lloyd, Kentucky, and the late Walker Burl Hall. He was a 1971 graduate of the former Wurtland High School and a devoted member of Load Christian Baptist Church where he was the Sunday School Superintendent for the last 7 years. Keith was an enthusiastic supporter of the University of Kentucky and a dedicated volunteer for Greenup County Meals on Wheels. He loved sports, especially watching his son, Jesse, play baseball.

In addition to his father, Keith was preceded in death by his stepfather, Curt Johnson, and his nephew, Bryan Keith Fife.

Keith is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Kathy Jo Bailey Hall; his son, Jesse Walker Hall of Greenup; his daughter, Jordan Renee Hall of Flatwoods; two sisters, Melody Lynn Riesbeck and Stephanie Ann Thompson, both of Greenup; as well as several nieces and nephews who cherished him dearly.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, November 29, 2024, at Reed Funeral Home in Greenup, Kentucky, with Pastor Robbie Bond officiating. Burial will follow at Quillen Cemetery in Load, Kentucky. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the service time on Friday at the funeral home.
