Carolyn Sue Madden

Carolyn Sue Madden, 56, of Argillite, Kentucky, passed away January 15, 2026 at her residence. Carolyn was born September 19, 1969 in Ashland, Kentucky a daughter of the late James Franklin and Beverly Walls Hay. She had a great love for animals and rescued several. She enjoyed hiking in the woods and watching detective shows and The Golden Girls.

She is survived by her companion Robert Kee Cremeans; two sons Cane Madden of Lucasville, Ohio and Robert Lee Cremeans of Argillite, Kentucky; step son Tony Sullivan of Portland, Oregon; four daughters Tonya Cremeans of Argillite, Kentucky, Rebecca Oney of Olive Hill, Kentucky, Brandy Steele of West Virginia, and Susan Madden of Olive Hill, Kentucky; one brother James Franklin Hay Jr. of Argillite, Kentucky; and several grandchildren.
