Cameron Michael Barrow

Cameron Michael Barrow, 26, of Liberty Township, Ohio passed away, Wednesday, October 19, 2022, in Flatwoods, Kentucky. Cameron was born April 1, 1996, in Ashland, Kentucky a son of Diana Taylor (John) Opoku of Liberty Township, Ohio and the late Byron Barrow. Cameron was a former basketball player at Westerville High School and Lakota East High School where he was a 2014 graduate. He continued his education at the University of Kentucky studying Sociology. He loved to travel, play basketball, video games and was an avid sneakerhead. He also had a great love for the University of Kentucky Wildcats.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his grandmother Mary Barrow and his grandfather Thomas Taylor.

In addition to his mother and step father, he is survived by two sisters Sarah Opoku and Victoria Opoku of Liberty Township, Ohio; a daughter Jazmyn Barrow at home; a grandmother Betty Barndollar Robinson of Flatwoods, Kentucky; six uncles Duane (Kim Duncan) Taylor of South Point, Ohio, Robert Taylor of Flatwoods, Augustine Opoku of Pennsylvania, Joseph (Sheila) Opoku of Elizabeth, Colorado, Francis Opoku and Franzel (Daisy) Opoku of Accra, Ghana; an aunt Adwoa (Kwaku) Boateng of Worthington, Ohio; and a host of cousins.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm, Saturday, October 29, 2022, at Reed Funeral Home in Greenup, Kentucky. Burial will be in the Warnock Cemetery. Visitation will be 11:00 am until service time on Saturday. Condolences may be made at www.rlrfuneralhome.
