Betty Jane Blevins

Betty Jane Blevins, 53, of Greenup, Kentucky went to be with the Lord, Wednesday, May 29, 2024, at her mother’s house in Proctorville, Ohio. Betty was born January 19, 1971, in Ironton, Ohio a daughter of Georgia Cross Sheers of Proctorville, Ohio and the late Robert Baldridge. She enjoyed fishing and hunting and loved to shop and go to yard sales. She loved her children and grandchildren very much and will be greatly missed. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by one sister Joyce Trussler.

In addition to her mother she is survived by one son Nathan “Andy” (Haley) Blevins of Greenup, Kentucky; two daughters Amanda Clifton of Grayson, Kentucky and Jessica (Justin) Howard of Greenup, Kentucky; one brother Leonard (Tresia) Baldridge of Byron, Georgia; five sisters Janet (Don) Chapman of Greenville, North Carolina, Georgia Braden of Greenup, Kentucky, Ruby (Russell Gray) Shearer of Plant City, Florida, Bobbi (Scott) Bays of Byron, Georgia, Robin Hieneman of Greenup, Kentucky; seven grandchildren Anna Faye Blevins, Serenity Clifton, Brooklyn Clifton, Daisy Sigman, Eli Blevins, Chloe Howard, and Brianna Howard; and a special aunt who was like a second mom, Ruth Akers of Ironton, Ohio.

Funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Friday, May 31, 2024, at Reed Funeral Home in Greenup, Kentucky. Visitation will be from 11:00 am until service time on Friday. Condolences may be made at www.rlrfunralhome.com.
