Angela Dawn Applewhite

Angela Dawn Applewhite, 48, of Flatwoods, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, November 29. 2023 at King’s Daughters’ Medical Center in Ashland, Kentucky from a sudden illness. Angela was born May 14, 1975, in St. Petersburg, Florida, a daughter of the late Roger and Carol Howell Sizemore.

She was a 1993 graduate of Russell High School and a former certified nursing assistant at Kingsbrook’s Life Center in Ashland, Kentucky. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.

She is survived by her loving husband Daniel Applewhite; two sons Paul Frisby of Flatwoods, Kentucky, and Trevor Frisby of Wilming, North Carolina; two daughters Tori Randoph of Ashland, Kentucky and Astrid Applewhite of Flatwoods, Kentucky; a brother Sean Sizemore of Flatwoods; a sister Wendy Mauk of Dunbar, West Virginia; and three grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 4:30 pm on Tuesday, December 5, 2023, at Hilltop Christian Baptist Church in Westwood, Kentucky. Reed Funeral Home in Greenup is in charge of arrangements. Condolences may be made at www.rlrfuneralhome.com
