Jackie Ward Harper

Jackie Ward Harper, 82, of Greenup, Kentucky went to be with the Lord on Friday September 29, 2017 at his residence in Greenup surrounded by his loving family.

Mr. Harper was born August 15, 1935 in Greenup, Kentucky a son of the late Kenneth Ward and Grace Braden Harper.

He attended various local church, was a beloved father, grandfather, and great grandfather. He loved his neighbors, loved his farm on Alcorn Road.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one step-son Richard Willis and one sister Darlene Heaberlin.

He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years Georgia Harper

Kenneth “Keith” and Tammy Harper of Greenup, Kentucky

Kevin and Mary Harper of Greenup, Kentucky

Two-step sons

Doug and Missy Willis of Greenup, Kentucky

Darrell and Phyllis Willis of Greenup, Kentucky

One daughter Diana and David Wireman of Greenup, Kentucky

Fourteen grandchildren and six great grandchildren

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Monday October 2, 2017 at Reed Funeral Home in Greenup, Kentucky by Bro. Danny Brown and Bro. Bill Oakes. Burial will be in Harper Cemetery in Greenup, Kentucky.

Visitation will be from 11:00 am until service time on Monday.
