Alice Nancy Callihan

Alice Nancy Callihan, 80, of Argillite, Kentucky went to be with the Lord on Wednesday August 16, 2017 at her residence surrounded by her loving family.

Mrs. Callihan was born December 15, 1936 in Magoffin County, Kentucky a daughter of the late Burl and Roxie Lykins Williams.

She was of the Baptist faith. She was a dairy farmer, sold produce, and was a wonderful cook, wife, and mother.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Elmer Polly Callihan and one granddaughter Vanessa Callihan.

She is survived by

One son Tim and Bonnie Callihan of Argillite, Kentucky

One daughter Joyce and Claude Caudill of Argillite, Kentucky

One brother Donald Williams of West Union, Ohio

Two sisters

Betty Ruth Young of West Union, Ohio

Audrey Williams of West Union, Ohio

Six grandchildren, six great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm Saturday August 19, 2017 at Reed Funeral Home in Greenup, Kentucky by Bro. Tom Jackson.

Burial will be in Callihan Cemetery in Argillite.

Visitation will be from 6:00-9:00 pm on Friday and one hour before the service on Saturday.
