Helen Francis Prater, 79, of Argillite, Kentucky passed away July 20, 2016 at Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland, Kentucky.

Mrs. Prater was born January 8, 1937 in Argillite, Kentucky a daughter of the late James and Hazel Bentley Prater.

She attended Kilgore Church in Rush, Kentucky.

Funeral Service will be conducted at 2:00 pm Sunday July 24, 2016 at Reed Funeral Home in Greenup, Kentucky by Pastor Ronnie Blevins. Burial will be in Old Fields Cemetery in Argillite, Kentucky.

Visitation will be from 12:00 pm until service time on Sunday.
