Judith (Judy) Elanie Siders

Judith (Judy) Elaine Siders, passed on to a better place on March 2nd, 2023. She was preceded in death by her mother Evelyn K. Eastham and a sister Connie Siders. She is survived by daughters Kimberly Veach Womack (Mike Estep), Lisa Siders, Melanie (Duane) Ellerbrock and sister Bonnie Baldridge, two grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Judy Was a proud nurse at Cabell Huntington Hospital for 33 years. She was instrumental in getting the SEIU service workers union 1199 ratified at Cabell and a long-time arbitrator for workers’ rights. She loved her family most of all and always advocated for the underserved including animals.

A celebration of life will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Sunday, March 5, 2023 at Reed Funeral Home in Greenup, Kentucky. Burial will follow in McBrayer Cemetery in Greenup, Kentucky. Visitation will be from 12:00 am until service time on Sunday. Reed Funeral in Greenup, Kentucky is in charge of arrangements. Condolences may be made at www.rlrfuneralhome.com.
