Betty Jo Potter

Betty Jo Potter, 87, of Greenup, Kentucky went to be with the Lord, Sunday June 7, 2020 at Kingsbrook Life Center in Ashland, Kentucky. Mrs. Potter was born March 3, 1933 in Russell, Kentucky a daughter of the late William “Bill” and Nellie Mae Messer Litteral. Betty was a Christian and loved being outdoors and working in her flowers.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband James E. Potter Sr.; two brothers William Litteral Jr. and Clarence Litteral; three sisters Louise Litteral, Lucille Shepherd, and Lenora Richardson.

She is survived by

Wanda (Ernest) Justice of Coalgrove, Ohio

Eleven grandchildren; twenty-four great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

A private funeral service will be held on at Reed Funeral Home in Greenup, Kentucky by Rev. Jack Edwards. Burial will be in the Plum Grove - Collins Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the funeral home toward funeral expenses. Condolences can be made at www.rlrfuneralhome.com.
