Bibb Tracy

Bibb Tracy, 65, of Greenup, Kentucky went to be with the Lord Tuesday, April 28, 2020 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Although a salesman and mechanic by trade, he had been working full-time fighting cancer since 2018. He loved his family and was so very proud of both of his kids.

Bibb was born Starling Bibb Tracy III on October 1, 1954 in Winchester, Kentucky, a son of the late Starling Bibb Tracy Jr. and Alma Ann Spencer Tracy.

He was a 1973 graduate of George Rogers Clark High School in Winchester, Kentucky. He was of the Presbyterian faith.

He was an avid University of Kentucky fan and a member of Ashland Cycling Enthusiasts. His favorite activity was ending a group bicycle ride with Austin’s Ice Cream.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sister Pat Tracy and brother Steve Tracy.

He is survived by his loving wife of 30 years Kimberly Lester Tracy; his son Josh Tracy of Russell, Kentucky; his daughter Allison (Rachael Miller) Tracy of Louisville, Kentucky; one sister Debbie (Bill) Van den Dool of Midway, Kentucky; father and mother-in-law Fred and Faye Lester of Catlettsburg, Kentucky; brothers-in-law Greg (Diana) Lester and Jeff (Noriko) Lester, both of Catlettsburg, Kentucky; sister-in-law Lorie (Roger) Chaffin of Catlettsburg, Kentucky; nieces and nephews (Meghann, Spencer, Rebekah, Brittany, and Miko). He will be missed by his best friend, Shorty, and by friends and family members who loved him dearly.
