Katie "Susie" Leadingham

Katie Sue “Susie” Leadingham, 69, of Greenup, Kentucky went to be with the Lord Monday, November 4, 2019 at Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland, Kentucky surrounded by her loving family.

Susie was born September 8, 1950 in Ashland, Kentucky a daughter of the late Clyde and Matilee Logan Carter.

Susie was a retired deputy clerk at the Greenup County Circuit Court Clerk’s Office with 20 plus years of service and a 1968 graduate of Wurtland High School.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one granddaughter Krista Danielle Leadingham.

She is survived by her loving husband of 49 years Danny George Leadingham; two sons Alan (Denise) Leadingham and Jason Daniel (Becky) Leadingham of Greenup, Kentucky; two special friends Linda Douglas of Columbus, Ohio and Janice Wheeler of Ashland, Kentucky; nine grandchildren Kailee, Mandy, Jessica, Kayla (Charlie) Coffey, McKenzie, Alicen, Karlie, Katie and Logan; three great-grandchildren Dawson Christian, Aubrey Coffey, Braxton Christian and a host of nieces, nephews and family who will miss her dearly.

Funeral services will be conducted Noon, Thursday, November 7, 2019 at Reed Funeral Home in Greenup by Pastor Charles Green. Burial will be in the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery North East in Greenup.

Visitation will be from 6:00 – 8:00pm Wednesday and one hour before the service on Thursday at the funeral home.
