Edward Wireman

Edward Wireman, 94, of Ashland, Kentucky went to be with the Lord Friday, November 1, 2019 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Edward was born April 07, 1925 in Greenup County, Kentucky a son of the late William and Leona Oney Wireman. He was a World War II Army Veteran and was a member of the Load Enterprise Baptist Church at Load, Kentucky.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one son, Daryl Wireman, two grandsons, Jacob Napolillo and Timothy Green, two brothers, David Wireman and Sanford Wireman, three sisters, Juanita Scott, Myrtle Waller and Helen London.

He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Maxine Young Wireman, one son, John E. Wireman of Westwood, Kentucky,

three daughters, Deborah (Mason) Green of Hampton, Virginia, Veronica (Rocky) Turner of Ashland, Kentucky, Elfreda Salyers of Nicholasville, Kentucky.

eight grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and many family members who will miss him dearly.

Funeral services will be conducted at noon on Friday November 8, 2019 at Reed Funeral Home in Greenup, Kentucky by Gary Burton. Burial will follow in the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery North East, Greenup. Military rites will be performed by American Legion Post 93 Kenova. Visitation will be held from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M, Thursday and one hour before the service on Friday at the funeral home. Condolences may be made at www.rlrfuneralhome.com.
