Erma Jean Blevins

Erma Jean Blevins, 78, of Argillite, Kentucky went to be with the Lord Saturday, September 7, 2019 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Erma was born June 15, 1941 in Hunnewell, Kentucky a daughter of the late Homer and Betty (McCall) Brown. She was a former dietarian aide at Wurtland Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She loved to quilt and over the years her quilts won many awards at the Greenup County Fair. She was a wonderful homemaker and wife and a very loving mother and grandmother. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by three brothers Farris Brown, J.T. Brown, Curtis Brown; one granddaughter Hannah Christian. She is survived by her loving husband of 54 years James Floyd Blevins; three daughters

A host of nieces and nephews and friends who loved her dearly. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm, Tuesday, September 10, 2019 at Reed Funeral Home in Greenup, Kentucky by Bro. Danny Brown and Bro. Mark Hutchinson. Pallbearers will be Cameron Blevins, Bradley Belt, Ross James, Peyton James, Brandon Belt, Trey Christian and Travis Moore. Burial will be in the East Carter Memory Gardens in Grayson, Kentucky. Visitation will be from 6:00 - 8:00 pm Monday and one hour before the service on Tuesday at the funeral home.
