Georgia Ann McCarty

Georgia Ann McCarty, 87, of Greenup, Kentucky passed away August 2, 2019 at Boyd County Nursing Home in Boyd, Kentucky. Mrs. McCarty was born June 17, 1932 in Ashland, Kentucky a daughter of the late Paul and Mable Gullett Boggs. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Alfred S. McCarty; two brothers Tom Boggs and Johnny Boggs; three sisters Nellie Roark, Manicka O’Neil, and Tootie McKenzie.

She is survived by

Gary McCarty of Greenup, Kentucky

Jenny Boycan of Phoenix, Arizona

Eight grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren, and three great great grandchildren.

Funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Sunday August 4, 2019 at Reed Funeral Home in Greenup, Kentucky by Bro. Joe Hutchinson. Burial will be in Oldfields Cemetery in Argillte, Kentucky.
