Phyllis Ann Rose, 72, of Argillite, Kentucky went to be with the Lord on May 31, 2019 at Southern Ohio Medical Center in Portsmouth, Ohio surrounded by her loving family. Mrs. Rose was born February 28, 1947 in Ashland, Kentucky a daughter of the late Robert and Carrie Blevins Martin. Phyllis was of the Baptist faith. She was a cashier at Brown’s Grocery for 20 years and was teacher’s aide at Argillite Elementary School for several years. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one grandson Devin Ray Rose; five brothers Ed Martin, Gene Martin, Ralph Martin, Bobby D. Martin, and Roy Martin; two sisters Lucy May Stepp and Betty Hamilton. She is survived by her loving husband of 54 years Talmage Ray Rose

Funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Tuesday June 4, 2019 at Reed Funeral Home in Greenup, Kentucky by Bro. Danny Kelly. Burial will be in Bellefonte Memorial Gardens in Flatwoods, Kentucky. Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 pm on Monday and one hour before the service on Tuesday.
