Gwendylon Leadingham Henry

Gwendylon Allen Leadingham Henry, 95, of Greenup, Kentucky went to be with the Lord Friday, April 26, 2019 at Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland, Kentucky surrounded by her loving family. Gwendylon was born February 20, 1924 in Magoffin County, Kentucky a daughter of the late Amos and Curtis Allen Allen. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband George Leadingham; two sons Shannon Leadingham and Amos Leadingham; one great-granddaughter Krista Danielle Leadingham; one great-grandson Kevin Dale Leadingham and two brothers Joe Allen and Amos Howard Allen. She was a member of Grace Independent Church in Greenup and member of the Greenup Plum Grove Homemakers Club.

She is survived by her husband Merle Henry

Eight grandchildren, Twenty great-grandchildren and several great-great grandchildren

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm Wednesday, May 1, 2019 at Reed Funeral Home in Greenup by Pastor Charles Green. Burial will be in the Howard-Allen Cemetery, Argillite, Kentucky.
