Kenneth Edward Brown, 102, of Oldtown, Kentucky died peacefully on President’s Day, Monday, February 18, 2019 at his home in Oldtown, Kentucky.
Mr. Brown was born on Independence Day, July 4, 1916 in Oldtown, Kentucky a son of the late Thomas Edward and Margaret Elizabeth LeMaster Brown.
Kenneth was a farmer by trade, he was revered by all as the kindest and hardest working person they knew. Lovingly cared for these past ten years by his children, his tremendous spirit lives on in his progeny and in the nature he loved so much.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Stella Faye (Stone) Brown, who died in 2009 at the age of 87. He was also preceded in death by five brothers; eight sisters; and one son-in-law Aleck Dean.

Six grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren and a host of nephews, nieces and extended relatives.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm Saturday, February 23, 2019 at Reed Funeral home in Greenup, Kentucky by Bro. Danny Brown. Burial will be in the Oldtown Cemetery.
