Ralph K. Spears

Ralph K. Spears, 89, of Argillite, Kentucky went to be with the Lord August 28, 2018 at his residence.

Mr. Spears was born in Wurtland, Kentucky a son of the late Arnold and Loraina Burke Spears.

He was retired from C&O and was a United States Army Korean War Veteran. He attended Argillite United Methodist Church.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Minnie Ellen Sarven Spears; four brothers Quinten Spears, Dean Spears, Kermit Spears, and Lars Spears; two sisters Carmel Bishop and Alice Cornette.

several nieces and nephews and a good friend and companion for the last few years Linda Browning of Olive Hill, Kentucky.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 am on Friday August 31, 2018 at Reed Funeral Home in Greenup, Kentucky by Pastor Chris Bellew. Burial will be in Bellefonte Memorial Gardens in Flatwoods, Kentucky. Visitation will be from 6:00 – 8:00 pm on Thursday and one hour before the service on Friday.
