Tina Lynette Parsons

Tina Lynette Parsons, 56, of Greenup, Kentucky went to be with the Lord on December 13, 2017 surrounded by her loving family at St. Mary’s Medical Center in Huntington, West Virginia.

Mrs. Parsons was born September 25, 1961 in Ashland, Kentucky a daughter of Donnie Gayle and Donna Ann Bailey White.

Tina attended Bridges Christian Church in Russell, Kentucky.

She was the treasurer for Greenup Old Fashion Days Committee for several years and was a Kentucky Colonel.

In addition to her parents she is survived by her loving husband of 34 years Bobby Joe Parsons; one son Taylor and Jessica Parsons of Russell, Kentucky; one daughter Chelsie and April Franklin of Hurricane, West Virginia’ two sisters Crystal (Doug Cummings) Vanhoose of Ashland, Kentucky and Michelle Renyolds of Ashland, Kentucky; two grandchildren

Emma Parsons and Brayden Parsons; several nieces, nephews, and other family members and friends who loved her dearly; one special friend Mattie Coldiron of Greenup, Kentucky. She will be greatly missed by her family, friends, and community.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Saturday December 16, 2017 at Reed Funeral Home in Greenup, Kentucky by Pastor Tom Melvin. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery in Olive Hill, Kentucky.
