Martha Alice Scaggs

Martha Alice Scaggs, 85, of Little Sandy Road, Greenup Kentucky, passed away Saturday, September 3, 2016 at Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland, Kentucky. Mrs. Scaggs was born November 2, 1930 in Lowmansville, Kentucky a daughter of the late Fred and Effie Brown Lowe.

She enjoyed spending time with family, cooking and canning.

She was a lifetime member of the Greenup VFW Post 1168 Ladies Auxillary.

She was preceded in death by her husband Willie Scaggs Jr.

Funeral Services will be conducted at noon on Tuesday, September 6, 2016 at Reed Funeral Home in Greenup by Pastor Paul McNurlin.

Visitation will be from 10:00 am until funeral time at the funeral home.

Burial will be in the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery North East.
